On or about Tuesday, March 15th, 2022, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between two tractor-trailers, a pickup truck, and five passenger vehicles sent ten individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the NCHP said the accident was reported along Interstate 95 in Robeson County, North Carolina.

Officials from the North Carolina Highway Patrol said ten as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when two tractor-trailers, a pickup truck, and five passenger vehicles collided in a major chain-reaction accident along I-95. Officials said the accident may have started when a tractor-trailer allegedly collided with another commercial truck. Paramedics transported ten people from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 95 cuts north and south through Robeson County.

Officials are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
