On or about Friday, July 1st, 2022, around 12:45 in the morning, a hit-and-run car accident with a pedestrian claimed the life of a 41-year-old Texas man. Spokespeople from the ASP said the accident was reported along Interstate 30 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Representatives from the Arkansas State Police said 41-year-old Terrell Hillard, of Texarkana, Texas, was killed when he was allegedly hit by a passing motorist as he was walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of Interstate 30. After the initial accident, the vehicle fled the scene. Paramedics pronounced Hillard dead a short time after he was hit.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the exchange with Interstate 430.
Police are still looking for the driver and vehicle that fled the scene.
