On or about Sunday, June 5th, 2022, sometime in the afternoon hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle left a 40-year-old man dead. Spokespeople from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along Highway 115 in Andrews County, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said 40-year-old Terrence Vereecke was killed when the vehicle he was driving was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer in an intersection along Highway 115. Emergency responders pronounced Vereecke dead a short time after they responded to the scene of the collision. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is at the intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 181.
Authorities are still trying to pin down the cause of the accident.
