Details:
On or about Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, around 7:39 in the morning, a major accident between a car and a tractor-trailer left two men dead. Troopers from the ISP said the accident was reported along State Road 39 in Clinton County, Indiana.
Troopers from the Indiana State Police said 51-year-old Richard Windell Jr. and 73-year-old Terry McQuern were killed when Windell’s car allegedly crossed over the center line of the roadway and struck McQuern’s tractor-trailer in the oncoming lanes. Emergency responders pronounced Windell and McQuern dead of their injuries when they arrived at the scene of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Clinton County is about 51 miles north of downtown Indianapolis.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
