On or about Monday, October 12th, 2020, around 2:17 in the afternoon, an accident between a car and an 18-wheeler sent a 63-year-old woman to the hospital. Law enforcement sources said the accident happened on Highway 36 near Co Rd 108 in Comanche County, Texas.

Texas DPS Troopers said 63-year-old Thai Trinh was injured when her car was allegedly struck by a tractor-trailer that returned to it’s lane after a failed passing maneuver. Paramedics transported Trinh to a nearby hospital where she was treated for unspecified injuries.

Police cited the driver of the tractor trailer with for failure to control speed in connection with the crash.

Google Maps places the scene of the accident just northwest of the town of Comanche, which is situated about 112 miles southwest of Fort Worth.

State and local law enforcement agencies assisted at the scene of the accident.
