On or about Sunday, September 19th, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, a single-vehicle church bus accident sent thirty two people to the hospital. Troopers from the PSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 81 at the exchange with Route 25 in Frailey Township, Pennsylvania.

Deputies from the Schuylkill County Sheriff’s Office and Pennsylvania State Police said thirty two people were taken to the hospital after the church bus they were on allegedly veered off the side of I-81 and crashed into a barrier on the Exit 112 ramp. Emergency responders transported all thirty two victims to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 81 runs north and south through Frailey Township, which is about 105 miles northwest of Philadelphia.

Multiple agencies are assisting in the accident investigation.
