On or about Monday, November 1st, 2021, around 7:46 in the evening, a single-vehicle tractor-trailer claimed the life of a 56-year-old Louisville, Ohio man. Troopers from the PSP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 80 in Monroe Township, Pennsylvania.

Deputies from the Clarion County Sheriff’s Department said 56-year-old Thomas E. Brewer was killed when the tractor-trailer he was driving allegedly rolled off the side of Interstate 80. Emergency responders pronounced Brewer dead after the accident, but it is not clear if he died at the scene, or if he was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.

According to Google Maps, Interstate 80 cuts east and west through Monroe Township, which is about 117 miles west of downtown Philadelphia.

State and local law enforcement assisted at the scene.
