On or about Tuesday, August 10th, 2021, around 10:15 in the morning, an accident between a box truck, a car, and a pickup truck sent three people to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along Lakeville Highway in Petaluma, California.
California Highway Patrol officials said three as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a box truck allegedly struck a car, spinning the car into the path of a nearby pickup truck. After the initial accident, the box truck rolled off the side of the road. Paramedics transported all three drivers to the hospital with unspecified injuries following the crash.
According to Google Maps, Lakeville Highway runs east and west through Petaluma, which is about 39 miles north of downtown San Francisco.
Authorities are still investigating.
