Details:
On or about Sunday, June 12th, 2022, a major single-vehicle car accident into the water sent three individuals to the hospital. Officers from the CCPD said the accident was reported along Waters Edge Parkway in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives from the area said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of Waters Edge Parkway and crashed into the water a short distance off the roadway. Emergency responders transported three individuals from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries after the accident.
Police have said they believe alcohol may have played a role in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from the Corpus Christi Marina.
Officials are still investigating.
