On or about Thursday, August 26th, 2021, an accident between a commercial pickup and a commercial truck hauling a trailer left three people injured. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred at the intersection of Marsha Sharp Freeway and Loop 289 in Lubbock, Texas.
Authorities said three as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a commercial pickup truck and a commercial truck hauling a trailer collided under unspecified circumstances at the intersection of Marsha Sharp Freeway and Loop 289. The truck hauling the trailer rolled to it’s side after the initial accident. Three people sustained unspecified injuries stemming from the incident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Marsha Sharp Freeway and Loop 289 is situated on the southwest side of Lubbock.
Police are still investigating.
