Details:
Three people were injured, one critically, after a construction truck collided with a pickup truck on the 5700 block of Preston Highway in the Newburg area of Louisville, KY. Officer with the Louisville Police say the crash took place around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025.
First responders had to extricate the driver of the pickup, who was transported to University of Louisville Hospital in critical condition. The driver and passenger of the construction truck were also taken to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Initial reports show the pickup was travelling north when it veered into the southbound lanes, colliding with the construction truck. Investigation into the accident is ongoing.
