On or about Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, around 4:35 in the afternoon, a major accident with a dump truck left three individuals injured. Officials from the ISP said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of North State Road 46 and Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Authorities from the Indiana State Police said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a dump truck and two other vehicles collided under unspecified conditions at N. SR 46 and Wabash Avenue. Emergency responders transported three individuals to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity, but officials did not specify which vehicle or vehicles the victims were in at the time of the accident.

According to Google Maps, the intersection of  N. SR 46 and Wabash Avenue is a short distance west of North Hunt Street.

Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
