On or about Thursday, January 14th, 2021, around 11:01 in the morning, an accident between a car and a FedEx truck left three people injured. Highway Patrol representatives said the accident happened at the intersection of Byron Highway and Hoffman Lane in Byron, California.
Troopers from the CHP said three people were injured when a FedEx truck and a car collided under unknown circumstances at the intersection. Two of the victims were airlifted to nearby hospitals, while a third individual was treated at the scene for unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Byron is located roughly 70 miles south of Sacramento.
Deputies from the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office were assisting California Highway Patrol with the investigation.
