On or about Thursday, May 5th, 2022, around 9:00 at night, a serious three-vehicle hit-and-run car accident left three individuals injured. Representatives from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported in the 4200 block of the Jamie Zapata Highway in Laredo, Texas.
Officials from the LPD said two adults and a 10-year-old child were injured when three vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident along the Jamie Zapata Highway. After the initial accident, one of the vehicles allegedly fled the scene of the collision. Paramedics transported two adults and a 10-year-old to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the south side of Laredo.
Police are still trying to find the driver and vehicle that fled the scene of the accident.
