On or about Monday, September 13th, 2021, around 8:30 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tanker truck sent three people to the hospital. Troopers from the NCHP said the accident was reported along Highway 87 between Doc Bennet Road and Sandhill Road in Cumberland County, North Carolina.
Authorities said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tanker truck and a car collided under unspecified circumstances while driving down Highway 87. Emergency responders transported three people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Officials did not specify which vehicles the victims were in at the time of the incident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated on the south side of Fayetteville.
Police are still investigating the crash.
