On or about Saturday, May 14th, 2022, around 9:45 in the morning, an explosion with a tractor-trailer sent three individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along FM 1788 in Ector County, Texas.
Officials from the area said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when the tractor-trailer they were working on or near allegedly exploded under unspecified circumstances. Emergency responders transported three people from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is a short distance north of State Highway 158.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the investigation.
