Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 7th, 2021, an accident between a tractor-trailer and an SUV sent two adults and a child to the hospital by helicopter. Deputies from the Perry County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Highway 11/15 in Buffalo Township, Pennesylvania.
Investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police said two as-of-yet unidentified adults and a child were injured when their SUV and an 18-wheeler collided under unknown circumstances. Paramedics airlifted the two adults and the child to the hospital with serious injuries stemming from the crash. Officials indicated some or all of the occupants of the SUV had been ejected in the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is roughly 28 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh.
Police hope to release the findings of their investigation at a later date.
