On or about Thursday, November 18th, 2021, around 3:42 in the afternoon, an accident between two tractor-trailers and a passenger vehicle sent three individuals to the hospital. Authorities from the CHP said the accident was reported along the eastbound side of Highway 120 near the intersection with Union Road in Manteca, California.

Troopers from the California Highway Patrol said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the back of an 18-wheeler, pushing that 18-wheeler into another vehicle. Emergency responders transported three people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. Officials did not specify which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the accident.

According to Google Maps, Highway 120 runs east and west through Manteca, which is located about 58 miles south of Sacramento.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
