On or about Thursday, February 4th, 2021, a 40-vehicle chain-reaction accident with several cars and tractor-trailers sent three people to the hospital. Representatives from the ISP said the accident happened on Highway 20 just outside Wellsburg in Grundy County, Iowa.
Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Office said three people were injured after 40-vehicles, including several tractor-trailers, collided in a major chain-reaction accident. Three people were transported from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries. Police did not release how the accident may have started.
