Details:
On or about Saturday, April 8th, 2021, around 9:00 at night, an accident between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer sent three individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Highway 281 near the intersection with Mogford Road in Bexar County, Texas.
Law enforcement representatives said three as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a pickup truck allegedly struck the back of a tractor-trailer in the southbound lanes of Highway 281. Officials said the driver of the pickup truck may have been ejected from the vehicle in the accident. Paramedics airlifted the driver to University Hospital where they were last listed in critical condition, while two others were taken to SAMMC with unspecified injuries.
Police said a fourth person was hurt when they were allegedly hit by a car while helping the victims at the scene of the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
