On or about Thursday, March 31st, 2022, around 1:30 in the afternoon, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck sent three individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported on Highway 29 at or near the exchange with Highway 53 in Lake Hallie, Wisconsin.
Spokespeople from the Wisconsin State Police said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly lost control and tipped, causing the trailer to roll onto a nearby pickup truck. Emergency responders transported two people from the pickup truck and the driver of the tractor-trailer to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Lake Hallie is situated about 183 miles northwest of Madison.
Officials are still investigating the accident.
