On or about Tuesday, April 27th, 2021, an accident between a pickup truck towing a trailer, and two tractor-trailers sent three individuals to the hospital. Officials from the NHP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Higwhay 30 and 19th Road in Merrick County, Nebraska.
Investigators said three as-of-yet unidentified people were hurt when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck the back of a pickup truck towing a trailer that had slowed for a turning vehicle. After the initial collision, the pickup truck was pushed into the path of a second, oncoming 18-wheeler. Paramedics transported three people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
According to Google Maps, Merrick County is situated about 119 miles west of Omaha.
