On or about Tuesday, March 30th, 2021, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between two cars and two tractor-trailers sent three people to the hospital. Police said the accident was reported in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 in Biloxi, Mississippi.
Investigators said three as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when an 18=wheeler allegedly struck two cars before pulling off, then back onto the roadway when it hit another tractor-trailer. Paramedics transported three people to the hospital with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident.
Authorities closed several lanes of the interstate in order to tend to the scene. An unrelated police pursuit closed several other lanes a short time after the initial crash.
Police expect to release the findings of their investigation as soon as they become available.
