On or about Friday, March 5th, 2021. around 2:30 in the morning, an accident between an 18-wheeler and a tractor-trailer sent three people to the hospital. Authorities said the accident happened on the northbound side of Interstate 5 in Linn County, Oregon.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler in the northbound lanes. Paramedics transported three people to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries stemming from the accident.
Google Maps shows Interstate 5 runs north and south along the edge of Linn County, which is about 107 miles south of Portland.
Oregon State Police assisted at the scene of the accident.
