Details:
On or about Wednesday, March 16th, 2022, around 8:00 at night, a serious accident between an SUV and two tractor-trailers sent three individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the NSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 just outside Paxton in Lincoln County, Nebraska.
Representatives from the Nebraska State Patrol said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when an SUV allegedly slammed into two tractor-trailers while driving the wrong direction on Interstate 80. Emergency responders transported two people to the hospital by helicopter, while a third was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 80 cuts east and west through Paxton, which is about 310 miles west of Omaha.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
