Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a serious accident between a tractor-trailer and a passenger vehicle sent three people to the hospital. Representatives from the MSP said the accident was reported along the Maine Turnpike in Scarborough, Maine.
Law enforcement representatives said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly hit a moose in the roadway before the vehicle was hit by a tractor-trailer along the Maine Turnpike. Emergency responders transported the driver and two passengers in the vehicle to the hospital with unknown injuries. Police did not mention any other vehicles in their statement on the crash.
According to Google Maps, the Maine Turnpike winds north and south into Scarborough.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
