On or about Monday, December 13th, 2021, sometime in the morning hours, an accident between a tractor-trailer, a box truck, and a passenger vehicle sent three individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the WSP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of the Pacific Highway in Federal Way, Washington.
Police officer said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer, a box truck, and a passenger vehicle collided in a chain-reaction accident. Officials did not indicate how the chain-reaction may have started in their initial statement. Paramedics transported three individuals to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Police did not specify which vehicle the victims were in at the time of the collision.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 23 miles south of downtown Seattle.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
