On or about Monday, December 28th, 2020, around 10:45 in the morning, a tractor-trailer rollover accident sent three people to the hospital. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened on Rocky River Road in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
Troopers from the Highway Patrol said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a tractor-trailer hauling sheet rock allegedly lost control and rolled while driving down Rocky River Road near the intersection with Pharr Mill. Paramedics transported all three victims to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
Google Maps shows Rocky River Road runs east and west through the area with two lanes. Cabarrus County is located about 25 miles northeast of Charlotte.
Officials are still examining the cause of the accident.
