On or about Monday, June 28th, 2021, around 6:30 in the morning, an accident between a work truck and a car sen three people to the hospital. Officials from the Department of Public Safety said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 35 near Lytle in Bexar County, Texas.
Authorities from the Texas DPS said three as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a work truck and a car collided under unspecified conditions. One person was ejected from the truck and airlifted to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Two other people were taken to area hospitals with unspecified injuries stemming from the accident. Authorities did not specify which vehicle the other two were in at the time of the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 35 runs north and south through the center of Lytle, which is about 24 miles southwest of downtown San Antonio.
Police are still investigating the accident.
