On or about Monday, March 28th, 2022, around 10:30 in the morning, an accident between a total of fifty passenger vehicles and tractor-trailers left three people dead and sent more than a dozen individuals to the hospital. Spokespeople from the PSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when fifty tractor-trailers and passenger vehicles collided in a massive chain-reaction pileup accident along I-81. Paramedics pronounced three people dead of their injuries, while more than a dozen others were rushed to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. Officials have not confirmed vehicle vehicles the victims were in at the time of the accident.
