On or about Friday, June 17th, 2022, around 11:45 in the morning, a major accident between two tractor-trailers left three individuals dead. Troopers from the WSP said the accident was reported along Interstate 80 in Laramie County, Wyoming.
Spokespeople from the Wyoming State Police said three as-of-yet unidentified individuals were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly lost control and rolled into the path of a second semi truck. Emergency responders pronounced three people dead of their injuries a short time after the accident, but it is not clear if they died at the scene, or after they were taken to area hospitals.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the crash is a short distance east of Cheyanne.
