On or about Wednesday, November 11th, 2020, around 3:00 in the afternoon, an accident between a pickup and a tractor-trailer left three people dead. State Troopers indicated the accident happened in the southbound lanes of Interstate 81 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.
Authorities said three unidentified individuals were killed when a tractor-trailer allegedly rear-ended a pickup truck. The pickup truck’s gas tank exploded after the collision. Three people were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Looking at Interstate 81 on Google Maps shows it is four lanes wide in the area, with a grassy median dividing north and southbound traffic. The accident happened in the far northern part of Lebanon County.
