Details:
On or about Thursday, March 11th, 2021, around 4:15 in the afternoon, an accident between a landscaping truck and a tractor-trailer left three people dead. Troopers from the TSP said the accident happened on the eastbound side of Interstate 40 near the exchange with Charlotte Pike in Nashville, Tennessee.
State Police said three as-of-yet unidentified people were killed when the landscaping truck they were in allegedly slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer that had pulled onto the shoulder of the interstate with mechanical problems. Paramedics pronounced three people in the landscaping truck dead a short time after the incident.
According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 40 and the Charlotte Pike is on the west side of Nashville.
Multiple agencies are investigating the accident.
