Details:
On or about Friday, March 5th, 2021, an accident between a dump truck and a car left two people dead. Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Department said the accident happened on Garrard Road near the intersection of Hiwasse Drive in Starkville, Mississippi.
Troopers from the State Police said 21-year-old Tia Boyd and 26-year-old Jamario Jordan were killed when the car they were in and a dump truck collided under unspecified conditions. Authorities only said the collision was head-on, and that both Boyd and Jordan died at the scene of the accident.
