Details:
On or about Thursday, July 7th, 2022, around 9:00 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer left two individuals dead. Representatives from the PSP said the accident was reported at the intersection of Route 322 and Ridgeway Hill Road in Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
Spokespeople from the Pennsylvania State Police said 49-year-old Tracy Kope and 62-year-old Jay Scott were killed when the vehicle they were in was allegedly hit by a tractor-trailer that was attempting a turn. Emergency responders pronounced Scott and Kope dead of their injuries a short time after the crash. One other person in the car was taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is not far from Cochranton.
Police are still looking into the crash.
