Details:
On or about November 24th, 2020, around 8:00 in the efening, an accident between an alleged DWI driver and another car sent four people to the hospital. Deputies from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office said the accident happened along Highway 75 near Montgomery Boulevard in Allen, Texas.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers said Jessica Lauren Barbre’s car allegedly cut into the HOV lane to avoid a line of traffic on Highway 75, causing an accident with a car driven by Andy Xuan Le. Paramedics transported Andy Le, and his passenger Trang Thi Hoang to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. Barbre and her unidentified passenger were also taken to the hospital after the crash.
Law enforcement officials have since charged Jessica Lauren Barbre with intoxication assault in connection with the accident.
Texas DPS and local police assisted at the scene of the crash.
