Details:
On or about Monday, June 14th, 2021, around 6:30 in the evening, an accident between a UPS truck and a heavy duty truck claimed the lives of two Houston, Texas residents. Troopers from the KSP said the accident was reported at the exchange of Interstate 65 and The Outer Loop in Louisville, Kentucky.
Investigators said 26-year-old Trenton Teamer and 29-year-old Jordan Winston were killed when the heavy duty truck they were in and a UPS truck collided under unspecified circumstances on the Outer Loop at the Interstate 65 exit. Winston and Teamer died of their injuries a short time after the accident. Officials did not mention any other injuries in their preliminary statement on the incident.
Police closed both directions of the Outer Loop for several hours in order to tend to the scene of the crash.
Multiple agencies are assisting in the investigation.
