Details:
On or about Sunday, May 22nd, 2022, around 12:01 in the morning, a serious two-vehicle car accident left a 24-year-old Arizona man dead. Officers from the area said the accident was reported along Highway 84 in Coryell County, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said 24-year-old Tristan Cooley was killed when the vehicle he was driving allegedly veered over the center line of Highway 84 and hit an SUV in the oncoming lanes of the roadway. Emergency responders rushed Cooley to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries a short time after his arrival.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is about 10 miles east of Gatesville.
Police are still investigating the accident.
