On or about Monday, December 13th, 2021, around 10:00 in the morning, an accident between a passenger vehicle and a CTA bus sent twelve people to the hospital. Investigators from the Cook County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the 6900 block of South Jeffrey Boulevard in Chicago, Illinois.

Officers from the Chicago Police Department said twelve as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a CTA bus and a passenger vehicle collided under unspecified circumstances on South Jeffrey Boulevard. Emergency responders transported twelve individuals to the hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity. One of the victims was reported in critical condition by medical staff.

According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is situated on the south side of Chicago.

Police are still examining the cause of the incident.
