On or about Tuesday, November 9th, 2021, around 2:15 in the afternoon, a major multi-vehicle accident involving a box truck sent two people to the hospital. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported at or near the intersection of Highway 1 and Rockaway Beach Avenue in Pacifica, California.
Police said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a box truck and four other vehicles collided in a chain-reaction accident at or near the intersection of Rockaway Beach Avenue and Highway 1. Officials did not indicate how the accident may have started. Paramedics transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, Pacifica is about 15 miles south of downtown San Francisco.
