On or about Thursday, June 24th, 2021, around 10:30 in the morning, an accident between a car and a tractor-trailer and a car sent two individuals to the hospital. Troopers from the CHP said the accident was reported along the westbound side of Interstate 80 in Sacramento, California.

Deputies from the County Sheriff’s Department said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a box truck and a car collided under unknown circumstances on I-80 near the exchange with Marysville Boulevard. After the initial collision, one of the vehicles rolled, but police did not specify if the car or the box truck is the one that flipped. Emergency responders rushed two people to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.

According to Google Maps, the exchange of Interstate 80 and Marysville Boulevard is situated on the north side of Sacramento.

State and local law enforcement agencies are still investigating the accident.
