Details:
On or about Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021, an accident between a box truck, a passenger vehicle and a tractor-trailer sent two people to the hospital. Spokespeople from the GSP said the accident was reported along the southbound side of Interstate 75 in Monroe County, Georgia.
Troopers from the Georgia State Patrol said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a box truck allegedly struck the back of stopped or slowed traffic, pushing the car into a tractor-trailer nearby. Emergency responders transported the driver of the car and the driver of the box truck to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 75 runs north and south through Monroe County, which is about 66 miles south of Atlanta.
Authorities are still investigating.
