On or about Monday, October 4th, 2021, around 7:53 in the morning, an accident between a box truck and a tractor-trailer sent two people to the hospital. Deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported on the northbound side of Interstate 15 in Hesperia, California.
Investigators said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a tractor-trailer allegedly struck a disabled box truck on northbound I-15. Emergency responders transported the driver of the box truck and the driver of the tractor-trailer to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, Interstate 15 runs north and south through the northwest edge of Hesperia, which is about 79 miles east of Los Angeles.
Police are still examining the circumstances surrounding the accident.
