Details:
On or about Tuesday, February 1st, 2022, around 9:00 at night, an accident with a wrong-way driver sent two individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported at the intersection of East Commerce Street and North Grimes Street in San Antonio, Texas.
Law enforcement personnel said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when two vehicles collided head-on when one of them was allegedly driving the wrong direction on the roadway. Paramedics transported both victims to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
Police are working to determine what role alcohol played in the accident, if any.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of East Commerce Street and North Grimes Street is on the east side of San Antonio.
