On or about Sunday, February 20th, 2022, around 2:35 in the morning, a hit-and-run accident between two pedestrians sent two individuals to the hospital. Investigators said the accident was reported in the 100 block of East Commerce Street in San Antonio, Texas.
Officials said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when they were allegedly hit by a vehicle as they were walking alongside or made an attempt to cross the lanes of traffic on East Commerce Street. After the initial accident, the vehicle fled the scene. Paramedics transported both pedestrians to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is in the center of downtown San Antonio.
Police are still trying to track down the driver and vehicle that fled the scene.
