Details:
On or about Wednesday, April 27th, 2022, around 8:35 at night, a single-vehicle car accident sent two individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the McLennan County Sheriff’s Department said the accident was reported in the 4000 block of North 19th Street in Waco, Texas.
Officers from the Waco Police Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when a vehicle allegedly skidded off the side of the roadway and drove into the side of an apartment building at the Highlander Square Apartments. Emergency responders transported one person from the car, and one person in the apartment to the hospital with injuries of an unknown nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the Highlander Square Apartments are on the northwest side of Waco.
Officials are still investigating the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
