On or about Thursday, November 18th, 2021, around 6:00 in the evening, an accident between a van and a pickup truck sent two people to the hospital. Local law enforcement representatives said the accident was reported along Highway 190 near the intersection with Highway 96 in Jasper, Texas.
Investigators said two as-of-yet unidentified people were injured when a van and a pickup truck collided when one of the crossed over the center line of Highway 190. Paramedics transported two people in the van to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Highway 190 and Highway 96 is in the center of Jasper.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the accident.
