Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 8th, 2022, around 1:00 in the morning, a serious single-vehicle car accident sent two individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Interstate 35 in San Antonio, Texas.
Troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the passenger vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of Interstate 35 and rolled a short distance off the pavement. Police said the vehicle may have been racing another car in the moments before the crash. Emergency responders transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
According to Google Maps, the scene of the accident is on the east side of San Antonio, near the exchange with New Braunfels Avenue.
Officials are still looking into the accident.
