Details:
On or about Wednesday, June 15th, 2022, sometime in the evening hours, a serious single-vehicle car accident sent two people to the hospital. Local law enforcement officials said the accident was reported along Jamie Zapata Highway at Los Presidentes Avenue in Laredo, Texas.
Authorities from the Laredo Police Department said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of the roadway and slammed into a pole a short distance off the pavement. Paramedics transported two people from the scene to a nearby hospital with injuries of an unspecified nature or severity.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Jamie Zapata Highway and Los Presidentes Avenue is on the south side of Laredo.
Police are still investigating the crash.
