Details:
On or about Monday, February 7th, 2022, around 11:00 at night, a single-vehicle car accident sent two individuals to the hospital. Deputies from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office said the accident was reported along Research Boulevard not far from the intersection with North Lamar Boulevard in Austin, Texas.
Law enforcement officials from the area said two as-of-yet unidentified individuals were injured when the vehicle they were in allegedly drove off the side of Research Boulevard and crashed. Paramedics transported a teen and another occupant to the hospital with unspecified injuries after the accident.
According to Google Maps, the intersection of Research Boulevard and North Lamar Boulevard is on the northeast side of Austin.
Police are still trying to pin down all the factors that may have contributed to the accident.
